Victoria Robinson
Victoria Robinson is a freelance article writer based in Chester, a beautiful and historical city in the North West of England. She has a strong interest in subjects including travel, beauty (particularly perfume), history and the arts.
Literature has been a lifelong love, particularly Russian and Japanese work. She spend three years teaching English to children and adults in a remote Japanese fishing village. Her travel experience is extensive, including trips to fascinating areas such as Iran and Russia, including a homestay with an elderly Russian lady who had some interesting stories to tell.
She has also worked on the other side of the fence in the leisure and tourism industry, including several years at Chester Zoo, the largest in Europe. Victoria regularly visits art galleries and museums in Britain and abroad.
In Japan Victoria spent two years studying Green Tea Ceremony, a form of Buddhist meditation involving ritualised tea making. She also befriended several Zen Monks and attended various ceremonies with them. Since 2003 she has practised Reiki healing and took her Mastership last year. For the past six years she has been a member of a local Shamanic Women’s group, which is in the Native American tradition. She has tried many forms of alternative healing and has attended personal development seminars in the UK, Japan and US.
